Odyssey Day Focuses “Re”Fueling American For the Next 100 Years

Pittsburgh Region Clean Cities will host its annual Odyssey Day Event, “Re”Fueling American For the Next 100 Years. Odyssey Day is an outreach event sponsored by the National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium (NAFTC). The event focuses on educating others about alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles. These vehicles play a vital role in providing solutions to our nation’s growing energy security and environmental issues. This year’s agenda will include various breakout sessions on New Vehicles, Vehicles Conversions, Fueling Infrastructure & Electric Charging, Public and Private Transportation, Funding (State and Federal) and Alternative Fuel Vehicles Funding Options, Fleet Strategies, Heavy Duty Vehicles and Regulations. Alternative fuel vehicles will be on display throughout the event and guests are welcome to test-drive model vehicles available. Experts will be present to answer any questions. The event will take place at CCAC West Hills Center on Friday, Oct. 11 9:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. Vendors are encouraged to register for a display table.
