Powering the Future of School Transportation

Event Description:

Please join Pittsburgh Region Clean Cities (PRCC), the Pennsylvania School Bus Association (PSBA), and the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO) for a webinar highlighting the DEMI-NueFuel School Bus platform (aka the "CowFartBus") for affordable clean school bus conversions.

Robert Friedman, NeuFuel, will discuss how school bus operators can use available AFIG funding to convert existing diesel school buses to the DEMI-NeuFuel School Bus platform. By leveraging renewable natural gas (RNG) as a pathway to sustainable school bus operations, fleets can reduce fuel costs and lower greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

The webinar will describe the PA Department of Environmental Protection (PA-DEP)'s Alternative Fuels Incentive Grant (AFIG) Program and explain the benefits of leveraging it to support DEMI NeuFuel conversion projects.

The webinar is jointly hosted by:

Pittsburgh Region Clean Cities (PRCC): Rick Price serves as the Executive Director of PRCC. PRCC is nonprofit organization (Clean Transportation) and U.S. DOE designated Clean Cities & Communities Coalition serving western PA. 

Pennsylvania School Bus Association (PSBA): Gerry Wosewick serves as the Executive Director of PSBA. PSBA represents the school bus contractors in the Commonwealth.

Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO): Dale Kirsch serves as the Member Advisor of PASBO. PASBO represents all of the school business administrators and officials in the Commonwealth.
