FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES:

Federal Opportunities:

 

Building a Better America Summary 

Summary of upcoming community-oriented funding opportunities supported by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL).

​

DOE Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Vehicle Technologies Office (VTO) Grant Programs

Program for research, development, demonstration, and deployment projects focused on achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions; additional Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) funded programs are also listed.

DOE Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block (EECBG) Grant Program

Program to assist states, local governments, and Tribes in implementing strategies to reduce energy use, to reduce fossil fuel emissions, and to improve energy efficiency.

​

 

DOT Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Low or No Emission Vehicle Program

Program to provide funding to state and local governmental authorities for the purchase or lease of zero-emission and low-emission transit buses as well as acquisition, construction, and leasing of required supporting facilities.

​

 

DOT Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Program

Program  to provide states and direct recipients with funding to replace, rehabilitate and purchase buses and related equipment and to construct bus-related facilities, including technological changes or innovations to modify low or no emission vehicles or facilities.

EPA Clean School Bus

Program and rebates to help replace existing school buses with zero-emission and low-emission models.

​

 

Joint Office CFI Grant Program

Program to strategically deploy publicly accessible EV charging and alternative fueling infrastructure in communities where people live and work and along designated AFCs.

State Opportunities:

​

PA DEP Alternative Fuel Incentive Grants (AFIG)

Funding program available to school districts, municipalities, nonprofit organizations, and businesses in Pennsylvania that want to transition to cleaner fuel transportation.

​

 

PA DEP Alternative Fuel Vehicle Rebates for Consumers

Consumer rebate program to help more working-class Pennsylvanians enjoy the benefits of zero-emission electric vehicles or low-emission vehicles.

​

 

PA DEP Driving PA Forward Program

Grant and rebate programs developed to improve air quality in Pennsylvania by driving transformation from older, high-polluting diesel engines to clean transportation technologies.

​

 

PennDOT National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Funding

Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL)-funded program to help States make EV charging more accessible to all Americans for local and long-distance trips.

​

Up-to-date summary of all current Pennsylvania laws, incentives, regulations, funding opportunities, and other initiatives related to alternative fuels and vehicles, advanced technologies, or air quality.
