About the event
Event Description:
Are Old, Inefficient Vehicles A Drain on Your Budget? Are You Considering a New Vehicle Purchase, but an Alternative Fuel Option is Too Expensive?
Join Pittsburgh Region Clean Cities, CONNECT, Duquesne Light Company, and Southwest PA Municipal Project Hub for a webinar designed to help municipalities access Pennsylvania's Alternative Fuels Incentive Grant (AFIG). Registration is open to any government or public authority in Southwest PA, with technical assistance available to help develop applications!
The PADEP's Alternative Fuels Incentive Grant (AFIG) Program provides local governments with funding to cost-effectively upgrade their fleets, install municipal charging infrastructure and reduce fuel costs. Application highlights include:
Up to $500,000 awards available to local governments
Covers incremental cost on new vehicle purchases, retrofits, and refueling equipment
Applications due October 10th
This session will walk you through the application process, highlight how communities can collaborate to meet the grant's five-vehicle minimum on light-duty vehicles, and showcase the regional support available to help you succeed. Whether you're just getting started or ready to apply, this webinar will equip you with the tools and partnerships needed to unlock funding and electrify your fleet.
